Best Friends Birthday

Daddy needed some car maintenance done and Kevin, you were fascinated by the work taking place. You stood there watching them for a long while.

Our family's reflection.

Celebrating 4 years of best friendship and Cole's 5th Birthday.

Nick, you and Cole loved ramming each other and everyone else on these bumper cars!

Draw 10

A few weeks ago was a long over due trip to Uncle Todd & Aunt Amanda's
Henry, Max, Nick and Kevin, you guys all great bonding time.

Kevin you love to help Daddy when he is cleaning.

Nick, this was your first attempt and drawing Mickey Mouse, we were impressed!

Equally impressed on your second try.

Kevin, here is you getting in some quality reading time before we head out for the day.
You shocked us the other day when you ran away from us at home, covered your eyes and counted to 10 and said "here come".  You can sing the ABC's all the way to G and then you begin to throw numbers in there.

This past week Nick, you asked Grandma Bowman to take you to get some flowers for Mommy. She did and Mommy was very excited of your sweet gift.

The Smoky Mountains

Off to the Snowy Smoky Mountains we went, on our first week long family vacation ever.

The road conditions were icy and that made for an extra long white knuckle drive down, totaling over 12 hours. Mommy gave you paper lunch bags every hour with a new gift inside (did the same for the return trip). And on occasion you boys would watch a movie, such as when we were parked on the middle of the highway due to conditions.

On the first night and last night you boys were super excited to sleep together. The during the week you each had your own room.

One of our views.

We hiked in the mountains unit we reached this pretty waterfall. Getting there was all up hill and Nick did an excellent job. All in all we hiked 2.6 mile that day.

The down side was that Tennessee was cold. So one day at 30 degrees out, Nick and I went swimming in the heated pool. We had a great time. We tried to go again days later after it snowed but they closed it. The family also went into the indoor water park where we also had a good time except Kevin who gets cold easily so you were in the "hot" tub with Mommy.

Nick got to play some big boy games at the arcade.

One day we checked out the aquarium. This is one of Daddy's favorite photos.

The battle of the teeth.

We checked out the shops, had ice cream, moonshine, local craft beers, then in snowed 6" and the city shut down. The next day we left on the worse road trip Mommy and Daddy have ever experienced. Into Indiana we ran into a snow storm that dropped another 6" of snow. Cars were spun out everywhere, so much that we lost count. We just missed a major accident by good driving skills but most of all by the grace of God!

We were excited to be home and will always have our memories of this fun family trip.

Super Stowaway

Please keep your seats in an upright and locked position. Put your green cell phone and sippy cup away. He did this all by himself.

Breakfast for dinner at the Breakfast Bar.

We hung out with the Broznowski's for the Superbowl. Everyone had a blast.

Side note, Daddy has vowed never to cut Kevin's hair again. I trimmed his bangs as they were in his eyebrows and as you can see in the last photo, he now blends in with the Amish kids.

Bowling Bickey Win'd

Kevin loves "Bickey" so much and it's cute to see that he tucks him in.

Watching "Bickey on tv together.

Nick bowled for the very first time this past weekend. By the 8th frame, when they stopped the game, Nick racked up 40 pins.

Looking back at the two years in Kevin's life, he never really had a "woobie" attachment like Nick did. Though Kevin does have a favorite blanket. He's laying on it in the first photo. But he is funny, sure he carries the blanket around with him but for the most part, lays it back on his bed before he comes downstairs.

Another funny thing that Kevin does is he loves to close doors and cabinets. He will tell you if you left a cabinet door open and to close it, or do it himself.

Nick races us up the stairs every night. He also races to get dressed first every morning. He busts into our room after "green light" and says..."I win'd". I've been trying to teach him the correct pronunciation for two months.  One of these days, someone else in the house will claim first place, someday.

Christmas 2013

Before Christmas, we got together with our babypalooza clan. Since we didn't get the chance to take our annual Halloween photo, this was a combo party.

Christmas Eve Dinner at Aunt Barbs

Let the presents begin!

Aferwards we moved back home to celebrate Christmas eve eve.

I only captured video for when you boys opened up Christmas morning presents. This photo begins the Christmas day celebration.
Christmas Dinner. Mommy did and excellent job on her first time.

Dad is not in any photos...oh wait, Uncle Todd Bowman snapped one of me.

The boys love all of their new toys!
Nick's favorite was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Kevin's is a stuffed Mickey Mouse.
