As we've done, continuing the tradition. We headed to Aunt Lisa and Uncle Leigh's for the Arlington Heights 4th of July parade.

Kevin's class made this bug.

The Annual Bowman's vacation found us back at Blue Harbor Resort. We stayed in the condos, you were were rolling down the hill of he hotel.

Dad and Mom had a movie night with some neighbors.

Mom and Dad also spend a summer weekend in the city. We ate a lot of good food and walked nearly 20 miles according to Mom's Fitbit. Thanks Ed and Susie for watching the kids.

You request me to look at you in the window nearly every day. Then you excitedly wave back Kevin.

Neighbors John and Molly had a shrimp boil. You boys played with this the entire night.

Grandpa Polzin and Dad took you out fishing. Nick had been requesting it leading up to us going.

A little time later, you were both casting!

Then, it happened. NICK, you caught your first fish. You were beyond excited!

It took me a while to actually install them up in your rooom, but three years later, you have curtain hooks. And here you are screwing on the endcaps. Thanks for the assistance Kevin.

Nick is looking forward to start 2nd grade. His interest in reading has slowed but he spends a lot of time on puzzles, legos and riding his bike.

What happen to Kevin's face?

Oh, he fell face first into the concrete sidewalk.

 The family went paddle boating in a small lake downtown Naperville. You guys enjoyed paddling.

You were not happy with what was on your dinner plate. You pulled your chair out there. I offered a treat to those that finish. You came right back.

Efficient. Two haircuts at once.

I came home to this one day. Both of you guys turned in marbles.

A Kevin creation. I received this on Fathers Day. The summer camp has asked him these questions and those were his answers.

We celebrated Fathers day and Max's birthday.

We got Nick a new bike, it was from another neighbor Mrs Jill. Funny thing was when we went to pick it up, Nick got all shy because she works at the school. He loves it.

Nick was receiving his soccer trophy with the team. This is his 3rd season with Coach Scott.

All the kids were given a personalized award, you were "Mr. High Energy"

The Bowman/McCurdy clan came over. I missed getting a shot of the balloon fight but Lisa offered a $ reward to who can collect the most balloon pieces.

Cousin Dinner. They are moving to Austin Tx later this month.

Up to Milwaukee the next morning, Cousin Reagan celebrated her Quinceañera. Cousin Deleany flew in from Nashville with her family.

The Polzin's were there too.

Mommy was out of town and you guys requested smoothies. That's where we throw random things into the blender and drink it for dinner. This round included such things as spinach, avacado, peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, grapes and kale.

He loves Paw Patrol! Why is Nick holding his head?

Oh, that's because he sliced it open when he was playing hide and seek and caught it on the edge of the desk. That's right, we expanded Hide & Seek to the upstairs!

I just so happen to have a photo of that desk. But my point of showing this photo is explaining that this is the view I see every morning.  It's now called the Lego room. Dad like it.

Last day of 1st grade. Mom and Dad took a half day at surprised you at the door.

Off to Wisconsin Dells where Uncle Todd's family joined us. We stayed at Wilderness Lodge.

We've lived here for three years. Today was the first time the Ice Cream Truck actually drove down our street. I obviously caved and we all got something. 

One day I'll actually get a boat and take you guys on the Dupage River. Until then, we can just walk out the boat launch. Nick later fell completely in and Kevin cried that he wanted a boat.

Dad had some college friends over. You guys all played really well!

Lindsey met up with some life long friends Aunt Devin (Kevin's Godmother) and her sister Jen.
