Grandpa Polzin came over for the weekend. Here we are at the Bowmans for a Pizza dinner.  

The first phase of this room, I painted it to a darker blue that Mom loved. Also pulled out the baseboards and carpet where the new cabinets will go. Goal - Build-ins with fireplace.

One minute we were eating lunch at home, next minute we were packing up to go visit Uncle Todd and Aunt Amanda's family.  Neither were busy at the time, but we wanted to get together.

Kevin, you earned the principle award for "Showing great character"

...a few weeks before this you got in trouble at school for punching someone in the stomach. BUT here's why we weren't mad even though you were sent to the principal. A bully had pushed you down on Tuesday and you told him, that was not nice. The next day he pushed your friend down, thats when you got mad and punched the bully, because he hurt your friend. While you did get in trouble, people saw the good out of it. Once the dust settled - according to your 1st grade teacher, you are a good friend to all of your classmates.

Today was the day that you learned Righty Tighty, Left Loosy. 

To earn a badge Kevin, you made this interested game. Then water was accidentally spilled on it, only creating a fun, river experience for shortcuts. 

Fort's ....some are dangerous.

You split open your chin, diving on the gym floor on your way to the bathroom. It didn't hurt and you didn't know it happen until you saw blood, lots of it.

Harry Potter couldn't find his costume from last year so the night of, Dad ran out to buy another one. But this came out of Nicks savings for not looking for it sooner.

Actually, I feel asleep on the couch and you snuggled up to me. When I woke up I found you next to me sleeping. Mom took the photo.

The lightbulb came on. Kevin you scored 1 goal all of last season.  The past 3 games this month, you've scored 3 goals each game!

Back to scouts, we had a local gathering at the park to meet everyone and the the local Boy Scouts 597 came and cooked you guys some marshmallows.  

Kev is back at these reports. 

 At a den meeting where you played and did a cool craft.

You guys "helped" me clean and scrub the garage floor.  

To prepare it for the seal I was going to put down.  

Epoxy. Not sure how long this will last but report back to me after reading this years from now.

At the Bavarian Lodge were we celebrated our German heritage. Nick had the wiener schnitzel and Kevin you had the meat loaf. You boys were starving or really enjoyed your dinner.

You both are fascinated with chewing gum and blowing bubbles. 

In August, we started giving you boys an allowance. 

Nick you like to save your money so you can buy bigger $20 things. Kevin you can't keep money in your pocket before you spend it on food at Nicks baseball games. 

This month Nick, you learned that you can snap your fingers. Your favorite subject is Math.

Kevin you are learning to read and getting better every day. Also, you asked if you could play baseball, I said Kevin, you have to learn to catch the ball first. Then you started to. In a couple years I'll be able to throw a ball as hard as I can at you and you'll catch it. I'll walk away with a smile and a sore arm.
