In Sheboygan, you guys built this giant hole in the sand. Lake Michigan is up 5 ft this year and has pulled in the land with it. You can see trees and plants behind you. The old beach is underwater.

Then you guys climbed inside it the next day for a photo.

 Dogs are awesome. 

You guys sleep so funny/cute/peaceful. 

Nick you are super into reading "Spy School" books.

Kevin you enjoy reading more and more and your favorite is "Mr. Putter & Tabby" books.

Mommy bought me a bunch of things, including 3 tape measures. 

 For Fathers day we went to the Kane County Cougars game. Here we are playing catch on the field. You guys also got autographs.

Where did that tooth go? 

You had to have it pulled since it was causing an issue. Apparently it has been dead since you fell or hit is sometime 3 or 4 years ago.  Your new tooth is behind it..but its going to be a while.

We went to Quartino for dinner.

Too bad I couldn't buy all of the sauces, my backpack was full.

May 2019 - A Dog, Nicks 10th Birthday - Blogs Too & A New Ride

This month marks the 10th year anniversary of OurPolzinLife.  I started it for my Mom, so she can stay in touch watching Nick grow, since they were kinda far away.  

Remember that dog we met? We adopted her, and took her home a few days later.  

Sunny is one, already had babies and has heart worm. Our jaws dropped when we learned what all is involved with the treatment but are up for the challenge. A few treatments later and she'll be tested in September. If cleared, she can be active again, until then we have to calm her and remove her from stressful situations.

The moment I knew this dog was for us was not how happily she greeted us but when Kevin took a ball out of her mouth, she didn't growl or pull away. She let him take it, not once but twice. 

She's really good at sleeping. We don't know all of her history but this might be the first time she's been out of a crate and able to spread out. 

You couldn't wait to share with your 1st grade class the news of your new dog. Nick you too! 

Some family friends from the old neighborhood. (known each-other since 10 months old and birth for the younger two.)

 Out with the old (10.5 years) LOTS of memories.
