First time you saw everyone in a week, Nick.

Darlene (Grandma) Polzin
December 26, 1944 - March 24, 2020
Above is a photo of me and my Mom, I was 4-5 years old. The day before she passed I had gone to say goodbye to her with Grandpa and Uncle Todd. We had to get special permission to get into her home due to the virus. We wore rubber gloves and masks. I will miss my Mom and I know you guys will miss your Grandma. But know she's in a much better place now.

A flashback to you guys with her on March of 2016

February 2020 - New Flooring, New Scar, New Stickers, New Tech, New trip to The Dells

We'll pretend this is the monthly photo because I missed this months, first time ever.  :(
Here we are looking at the new flooring idea with the different colors for the wall that the boys painted.

1.5 tons of flooring.

We volunteered at Feed my Starving Children.

Kevin submitted this for the local carwash coloring contest.
He WON. Mommy was awarded the free month of premium car washes.
We feel the clincher was when we put "BODY PROTECTANT", something you shout out at every car wash. (My idea)

You did it again Nick, a new scar.
You sliced your hand cutting a lemon with a chef's knife. 7 Stitches.

New - TIE SHOES!

Mom and dad really struggled with a color.

So long Mickey Mouse. Hello Avengers!
Dad was not ready, we came into your room that morning and you had already taking a lot younger stickers down.

The two photos are really exciting- New technology has created the ability to instantly colorize photos. The family photo below is of your Polzin ancestors, it's 100 years old.

Screen time

Sunny with her new toy that lasted 5 seconds. Good luck taking her photo, she constantly is moving.

We spend 4 days up in Wisconsin Dells, Kalahari

Nick, you loved those slides where the floor drops out from under you.
I did it with you a couple of times.

January 2020 - Kevin's 8 Birthday, Pinewood Derby, Snow fun & Basement Update

...so busy with the basement that I forgot to create this blog post in a timely manner. My apologies.

127th Monthly Photo (Yes they are growing fast)

Happy 8th Birthday Kevin!!!

Dad got the biggest birthday Balloon I could find.

Who gets to go sledding on their Birthday???

The night before we celebrated at the golf club.

Of course there was a family party. And yes, you chose to leave up the Christmas tree.

And Grandma Bowman make an awesome Curry cake that you requested.

Dad got a new racing game on PS4!

You didn't like how they kept score in the previous Kevin basketball game. So you took it into your own hands and performed as the score keeper. You did a great job.

 Playing with your birthday presents.

Pinewood Derby - Your designs - Dad cuts.

Nick you placed second. Kevin...wasn't your year.

A new version - Ticket to Ride

Kevin put those words together all by himself.
I still try to wrap my head around how he came up with this -
Your heart is joy she says
Believe and trust it if you can
Kiss and love
We know in a wonder before the man we see.

Your certificate of a completed basketball season, your first.

 Ha, goof.

You made this snowman /\ and \/ that fort wall.

Kevin, I don't know what you called this.

 Snuggles

You guys help select paint by painting stickers.

Dad's favorite basement photo, when you guys helped me paint.
Dad painted the ceiling, Mom up high, Nick in the middle and Kevin down load.
