June 2024 - St Louis, Hot Springs Arkansas, BabyPalooza 11 years later.

180th Monthly Photo

On our way to Arkansas, we stopped in St. Louis for a Cardinals game and to show the kids the Arch.

The St. Louis Arch

We spent a week in Hot Springs, Arkansas with Mom's family! We had a great time floating in pools and lakes, throwing long football passes, tubing from the pontoon boat, mini golf, ice cream and enjoying good company.

These sunsets!

Only person to catch a fish was Cormac and it was his first cast and catch ever. He caught a small bass.

These sunsets, kept coming!

Out to a local restaurant.

These sunsets, were beautiful!

One day, I took the kids to a local diamond field, but all we found were some cool rocks.

All we caught was cool rocks, no diamonds.

Tubing! That's Nick out there.

Out to dinner!

The group, in front of another sunset.

When you have neck problems when you are older - Don't say Dad didn't warn me.
You are staring at your phone.

From our Babypalooza days. Maddie is in red in both photos, and just graduated HS.

View from the backseat - Kevin of Nick driving.
Lot's of practice is still needed on turns, and braking. You curb-checked my wheel.
It will cost $400 for a new one.

May 2024 - Nicks 15th Birthday, Track, Driving, Blackstone Cooking, Last Day of School and US Army Send Off

179th Monthly Photo

Boy Scout Campout

We had a free weekend with no plans...

So Dad made plans to host Cinco de Mayo at our house and cook a ton of food.

In all, 30 neighbors came over. Everyone said yes to the invite.

Happy 15th Birthday Nick!
We celebrated the two days before your birthday because nobody wanted to get up at 530 celebrate on a school day. And the day before was Mother's Day...which left Saturday.

Celebrating with the Bowman's and the May birthday's

Kevin, just driving.

Mom was out of town, so let's cook the best way Dad knows how to.

On the Blackstone griddle. Fajita's

Always time for ice cream.

Some griddle made, French toast!

Nick's freshman season on track, comes to an end.

Kevin's room body guard and punching bag.

2024's 15 year old. Part 1

Last day of freshman year and 6th grade!
Yes kids wear pajama's to school. I cannot wait to see what Nick thinks of this later in life.

Could it be?

Yes, Nick pass his drivers test and earned his permit! I took you out on your first drive. Braking, gas pedal and turning all need work...so basically everything.

The burning of the school year. It was super windy this year.

Celebrating Nick's birthday with the Polzin's.

We won.

So we have to go to a place 30 minutes north of my favorite ice cream place in Wisconsin...so you know we stopped!

Cousin's Kevin and Nick, Grace and Delaney

We drove up to Oconomowoc Wisconsin to send off our cousin, Raegan. She shipped out 3 days later with the US Army.  (black shirt center)

Turns out we were very busy this May.

Kevin and I at the Blackhawks Hockey game with sweet seats.

Nick busting his tail off in a relay.

To take 1st place in the 4x800!

And there's Kevin in yellow, running the 1600, (1 mile)
Kevin tried his hand in Hurdles, High Jump and Long jump too.

Dads Beer Bro's made their 5th trip, this time to Indianapolis

Take your child to work day. Funny story, no, Kevin and I didn't plan to match. I was getting dress when he came in with his clothes asking me to iron them.

Your favorite stop was to build your own store. They brought in food trucks where we had personal pizza's for lunch and ice cream after.

The Polzin''s visited New York.
We walked a LOT, saw all the tourists things, and ate a lot of good food. We saw “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," play. Meeting my second-generation cousin Alexandra and introducing my boys to their third-generation cousin Jesse on my mom's side was a highlight.

No explanation needed here.

911 Memorial, we toured the museum as well.

We mastered the subway, thanks to the app CityMapper

Radio City

And the whole reason we came to NYC, to see this play.
