I Come?

A forgotten photo of Nick's 5th birthday at home.

I come?
Kevin always wants to come with wherever I go. So he sat like perfect little boy on my lap when I received a hair cut. This was his unexpected reward.

Cousin Cormac's 5th Birthday

Can you spot Nick? He's the one laying down.

Sprinkler time.

Loving it.

Trees & Gardens

Recently we had the Broznowski family over for dinner. You guys had a lot of fun dancing and dressing up in costumes.

Mommy recently constructed this shoe rack and before she had the chance to put it away you guys loaded your cars into it and call it your garages.

For Mothers Day, Daddy built this for Mommy. She loaded it with the vegetables that she grew in the house. Gratefully and excited, she later said "I need another one, I filled this one up."

Memorial Day weekend we went and bought five trees for the back yard . Kevin you had a blast running around the entire place.

Kevin you love Matchbox cars. This week you were carrying around these buses.

Sleeping on the floor (Kevin)? I then put your bed frame Nick, under your bed so now you sleep back in bed. Kevin, you also retreated back to his bed, for now.

Kevin & Daddy's Car. I'm not sure why, but you love to talk about my car, see where it's parked and ask to go driving in it.

When the windows are down Kevin, you like to extend your arms as if you are flying.
Nick, you have full control of your window just as long as you have permission to open it.

A Polzin Wedding

The Polzin Family.
Congratulations goes out to Aunt Tammy who married a nice man named Jo on May 17, 2014.

Our family photo, with Kevin eating a Z-bar.

Being a goofball

I thought this was was kind of cute. It was from the rehearsal.

During the "Daddy Daughter Dance" you boys, Ethan, Nick, Kevin, Max & Henry were also dancing up a storm!!!

He Turned 5!!!

Happy Birthday Nicholas!!!!
As as always, when it's your birthday you get served breakfast in bed.
Nick, for 5th birthday, you requested a big bowl of cereal.
For dinner you requested meatloaf and enjoyed them both!
The family gave you what you most wanted, two other Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to complete your set. You also got your first baseball bat.
Grandma Bowman made this Lego Movie cake with Emit on top.
Everyone enjoyed your presents, a transformer helmet and squirt guns were the top of your list.

At the Polzin's grandparents house, you and Henry shared your birthdays and had a really cool Thomas the Train and Puzzle cake. You then got to open a bunch more presents.

Easter Surgery T-Ball

Of course you are smiling for this photo Kevin, you were suppose to be sleeping.

Daddy took you guys to the zoo, your favorite part was water plants.

Before Easter and before he turned 5, the decision was made to have your scar reduced Nick and there you were about to go in for surgery. A nurse gave you Valium to ease burden that you were about to go in for surgery, and you began to act very goofy. Mommy cuddled up on the bed with you.

Mom and Dad were so proud of you. The doctors and the nurse said we were so brave.
Showing off your collected goods on the Easter Egg hunt.
Right before Easter, you guys colored your eggs with Neighbor Adam.

Nick, Grandma Polzin is showing you and Max picture of when Daddy and Uncle Todd were your age.

We now arrived at the age of sports. Nick, your first team was the Monarch's. Here you are all lining up for the National Anthem at your first game.

Your first at bat was a line drive to the pitcher. You went 3 for 3 all line drives to the the pitcher.
The positions you played were 2nd base, pitcher, and right field.

Awesome Fun Suit

Since Daddy had two whole weeks off I made sure to spend a ton of time with you guys.

On the first weekend we had Grasen & Sammy come over to play with you guys.

We went to the park a bunch of times.

Even had play dates with friends.

Then one rainy day, Dad brought out one of my prized treasures because Nick, you were ready. You already mastered Mario Cart so I knew you would succeed in the original Nintendo 8bit Super Mario Brothers. You call it "Super Mario Bros". So far you are doing well.

Then more park time and underdogs.

Then Nick you were fitted for the suit you will be wearing to Aunt Tammy's wedding. You are going to be the ring bearer with Max. You drove that guy nuts because you wouldn't stand still, it's ok you are only 4 1/2.

Being silly at home. Though it did give me an idea; what if.

You boys wanted nothing to do with February's monthly photo shoot, the photo above is the best shot.

You both made up for it in the March shoot.

Nick, ever since you saw "The Lego Movie" on March 3rd, you requested that each and every night before bed we play the song "Everything is Awesome." We do and the whole family dances to it before bedtime.

Tomorrow I start my new job but will always look back at these two weeks and how much fun we had.

Lots of big news.

Daddy got yet another job. This one hopefully is going to be for long term and have a positive environment. It's a dream job for Dad and will provide a better life for the family despite the long commute.

Kevin, you went #2 for the first time in the potty. You tried three times within 15 minutes, your mind was set on not going in the bath tub again and for that, we thank you. We were all excited! Daddy gave you a M&M.

Also, Kevin you can put on your shoes all by yourself. That is big boy stuff!
You guys are relaxing one morning while Mom and Dad get ready. Nick is always the first to get dressed and declares he's the winner every morning.

After record breaking snow and cold, all you wanted to do Kevin was go outside when it was 30 degrees out. Bike, bike, bike you said to me.

Nick you were shocked to see Cole came over to play. You all had lots of fun.

Mouse trap is an exciting game that apparently takes teamwork of all ages.

Daddy needs to check out why all of his photos are blurry.
Kevin, you are Cormac were playing the piano together. He played the low tunes and you played the high.

Boys, you spent 25 minutes in Daddy's front seat exploring and "driving".
It was all fun until the next morning when Dads car wouldn't start because the bright lights were left on. With all of the neighbors on spring break or at work, Grandma Bowman kindly brought over her car for Dad to jump his battery.
