Lindsey got to the bottom of it yesterday. Nick seems to continually bite one little girl. In the past she has been reprimanded for antagonizing Nicholas but was not the one who scratched him the last couple of weeks. He bit her again yesterday when she had a toy he wanted.
We have purchased some "No Biting" books online and will head to the library to pick up a few more. We are also still working on who can watch him during his time off.

Oh No - so sorry to hear. What a bummer! It is more common that you think at this age, unfortunatly. And I am sure he will grow out of the stage quickly. Lance just bit me for the first time the other night and I had NO idea how to react. Suggestions from your experience would be greatly appreciated. On the bright side, Mom and Dad get to spend some quality time with Nick :-)
