Panda's & Choo Choo's

Ever since Nick saw the movie Kung Foo Panda, a movie that is way too old for him....he has been all about Panda's. He calls them Panna's and has shirts, books and a teddy bear panda. Grandma & Grandpa Polzin brought back this favorite shirt of Nicks when they visited China a few months ago.

Nicholas also loves Elmo, ask him what Elmo says and he'll make funny sounds.

Every morning he eats feeds himself his own oatmeal with a normal size spoon. The oatmeal is as plain as plain can get and he loves it. Add blueberry's on occasion and he'll go nuts. The other day he was even able to eat soup which amazed Mom and Dad. The following day he decided to eat some more soup but then dump it on his tray.

Choo Choo trains are a big draw for Nick. There is an app on my phone with trains crossing a bridge you built, he loves to watch it. So if he requests "choo choo" show him a train.

This week at daycare, Nicks best friend Cole and Nick were playing by the door to their room in school. Cole was able to get the door open, thus giving Nick the opportunity to take off like a rocket. The day care director chased Nick down and told him to come back, he listened and returned. At home he'll run and hide in any area he can.

Nick will be 22 months tomorrow. It has recently hit us how big he's getting as we continue to put away old toys and clothes.

Words:
Stop - He says "Bop" and holds out his hand .
He can say -"Hurt"
He will also say - "Bless you" when you sneeze.
"No", he says this one a whole lot these days because he doesn't want you helping him, change him, do anything he doesn't want to do.

Him saying Hello is so cute, we finally were able to capture it on video.

  1. Good for him! The "L" sound is very difficult to make; he clearly has it figured out. Love knowing about the pandas and trains! Love, Grandma & Grandpa B.
