The Amazingly Easy and Snoring Baby

School refers to Kevin as being one of the class rooms favorites because he's so easy. It amazes me the difference between the two when Nick was Kevin's age. Throughout the pregnancy we didn't have a good nickname for Kevin, but when I held him for the first time, he was Baby Chill.
He loves when you change his diaper, feed him, smile back at him. One of his favorite things to do is shove the blanket in his face to relax...another feature like Nick.

Kevin still sleeps in our room in the car seat, and on recent occasions, has snored.
So much so that Dad, who is a very light sleeper, has lost sleep two nights this week. Next week we'll start to transition him to a crib in our room and then to his crib if that works out well. On average he's up 3 times a night, the 3rd is usually wake up time anyway.

The zoo is always fun, we went with the Bowmans.

"Kebin, Watch Me"

All day long Nick is saying, watch me Kebin. Kevin sometimes looks, if not Nick will keep asking him, otherwise it's pretty cute.
Last weekend Mommy was out of town for the weekend so Daddy had the kids all to himself. It was the first time he took care of Kevin overnight all by himself.  It was a challenge because the nights were short with Kevin getting up ever 3-5 hours and Nick waking for the morning at 5:40 am.

Dad invited over Uncle Todd and his children. The all had a good time playing with each other.

I came into Nicks room to find this. Turns out it's not what us adults thought, but Nick told me as I was typing this that "they are in timeout".
(Also it was the first time I saw the damage to the blinds, they are fixed now)

We call him Bubbles... Bubbles... Bubbles...

Easter Weekend!!! And a video

The Easter weekend began with coloring the eggs. For some reason we usually have as many eggs as colors...

The church egg hunt. Nick and another young boy were the only two that showed up for his age. There was probably 500+ eggs. We were there for over an hour. Nick did a great job, and picked up most of them.

Nicks presents from the Easter Bunny.

A quick photo before the big pancake breakfast at church.

Another tower by Nick - Tower name: Bullseye

And now the moment you all have been waiting for...a video of Kevin with the new video camera. (If you remember I sold the other one because it wasn't compatible with my mac)

I mentioned that Kevin rolled over 2 days after he turned 3 months. He's doing it a lot lately, here is some video to show it, I didn't catch it from the start, the video is from when it was on his side. Mommy and Daddy looked at each other, knowing that Nick did everything this early also, Kevin will be walking before we know it.

The 4th of April

Sorry this post is late, my Mac is in the shop, so I'm finally on another computer because I needed to post this. Kevin is now three months old, two days later he rolled over from his back to his stomach for the first time. Right in front of the family he did it.

His 3 month photo. He smiles and laughs a lot!

The weekend before the week of Easter, Nick and his best friend Cole went to an Easter Pancake breakfast to meet the Easter Bunny for the first time.

Afterwards they went egg hunting.

Later that weekend we met up with the Polzin family for some dinner. Running with Max, these two needed to burn off some energy..

Though it's rare, we keep trying to put Kevin in his crib or bassinet. But most nights he starts in the car seat and ends up in our bed.
