A Hockey Stick, Easter, A Birthday, and a Completed Challenge

To my self and the kids who read this in the future...time flies!!!
People come up to Dad all the time when I'm with you boys and say how they remember when their kids were this age, but now they are full grown. You boys are an awesome time in your Mom and my life. Sometimes challenging, but often rewarding. I wish I could keep up with the blog as fast as life moves, but I do what I can.
Nick - In the evening of March 21st, Kevin and you were playing swords. Dad's friend Jamie was over when all of a sudden we heard screaming from the stairs and you saying "I'm bleeding". You had blood dripping from your forehead. Us adults took one look at the cut and decided you needed to get to the hospital for stitches. Off to ER Mommy took you. You came back with liquid glue stitches. Look in the mirror now to see how it turned out.

Run!!! The annual Easter egg hunt is a fun time in the neighborhood!!!
Small kids on one field, bigger kids on another.

(Not pictured is the Video of our own Easter egg hunt we took at home.)

The Annual Easter Egg hunt at Grandpa & Grandpa Polzin's.
You cousins were all lined up.

You boys with Grandpa & Grandpa Polzin, along with Tapper.

 Our Family Photo.

For Easter, Mommy and Daddy got you big boy sleeping bags. You guys slept in them everyday for a week until Dad put them away.

A trip to the Zoo with Dad.
You guys walked the whole thing, which is probably why you can't last more than 2 hours of exploring.

I found this action figure in the vents. Nick says "oh yeah I got that when I was three."...not sure if that was when he put it in there, three - four years ago.

Storm Trooper?

This is how you shop at the Apple store.

Remember when Jamie was over? She was giving me insight on a new job at Ulta. We'll Dad got that job and it's only 5.5 miles from the house. This means I'll be around way more to play and we'll all now get to sleep in, every day.

Great Grandma's 88th Birthday.

Kevin - You  like to mow the lawn like Daddy.

Nick - Completed! That's Pastor John and he was Amazed that you had gong to all 12 campuses before anyone else.
He put this photo up on Facebook and said "This young man visited all 12 COMMUNITY Campuses and got his passport stamped at each one! ‪#‎familywin‬"
Then the head church followed:
"This young man already got his ONE Passport stamped at every COMMUNITY campus -- impressive! Have you used your Passport yet? If so, what campus did you visit? ‪#‎FamilyWin‬ ‪#‎ONE‬"

I replied- my son Nick was extremely determined and up for this fun challenge as soon he was handed the passport. He enjoyed all of the campuses and their kid cities. Every night Nick thanked the members and campuses for opening their doors to us during his evening prayers. My wife and I are extremely proud of him!

Community- We are extremely proud of the whole Polzin Family for your participation in this with him! Thank you for being a great example of visiting other campuses! #FamilyWin #ONE

Tim Polzin Thank you! It's was a great journey.

What's going on in school?
Nick - Multiplication "Times"
Kevin - You are really good at your ABC's and all of it's letters.

Kevin - you want to ride bikes all the time, even when it's pouring rain. You are HUGE into Paw Patrol.

Nick - you are in soccer and doing awesome when you are not tired. Having a goalie is new this year and you wanted to try it. I asked if you liked it afterwards, and you said "terrible". Twice you got a ball kicked near you. Since then you played it a few more times and you like it and so does everyone else. You dive for the ball and kick it out of the zone with power and smarts. You are exciting to watch.
You are crazy about Star Wars and battle anyone you can, all the time.
