March 2019 - Louisville Spring Break

117 Month Photo

Above Flashback - 2013
Below - Now 6 years later - 2019

 Dads progress on the fireplace.

And what I'm working on in the basement.

I've been wanting to do this for a while now. We have a good collection.

We volunteers with the pack at Feed My Starving Children.

Cousins spent the night.

For Spring Break, we headed to Louisville, Kentucky.
On the way was their first time seeing a payphone.

We stopped in the Louisville Slugger Museum. Dad was wearing his Bradley sweatshirt and since the NCAA tournaments were taking place (Bradley just lost in the first round)...they said anyone wearing college branded clothes gets a discount. I got 50% off. A saving of $26.

We did a LOT of walking, once day 10 miles. We walkover over a bridge that brought us to Indiana where we had dinner.

Pop-A-Shot...for NCAA tournaments they had this at the bar. One night the boys watched the Women's University of Michigan jump in and score an impressive 84 points each. You guys highest were only 14.

Dinner at Proof on Main. The manager brought this over to our table.
You were so excited. You still love Penguins.

Since we had hung out with the Michigan team, we thought it would be fun to go cheer them on. We were outnumbered 99.9%.

The only people in the stadium not dressed for a team.

Sight Seeing

At brewery called Against the Grain, playing Ticket to Ride.

Old Forester Distilling Company. We went on a tour.

They have these scooters you can rent. We had a BLAST riding them around.

Kids Museum!

Of course I got us hooked up with an upgraded room.

Building and painting your boats for the upcoming Regatta.

You're about to have an epic battle.

Above & Below - I just shared with you one my favorite movies when I grew up. The movie called, RAD. A BMX movie.

Kevins new glasses. New prescription.
