Ethel Viola Moore

Today we lost Ethel Viola Moore, aka Grandma and Great Grandma
1928-2017
She loved you boys so much and you boys loved her. Especially you Kevin, you always wanted to sit next her. Below are some photos that were captured with you guys and Great Grandma Moore.

Celebrating her 89th Birthday, just under four months ago.

Though her smile is gone forever
and her hand we cannot touch
We still have so many memories
Of the one we loved so much.
Her memory is now our keepsake
Which with we’ll never part.
God has her in his keeping
We have her in our heart.
Sadly missed but never forgotten.

June 2017 - Soccer & Science

97th Month Photo

And that's a wrap. Just finished swimming at the Lifetime Pool.

Science Sunday

Painting your volcano.

Kicking your way into the game. Soccer is not for you, not yet. Kev, you just ran with the group but with a giant smile on your face. You were focused on everything but the soccer ball. You did get to kick the ball a few times which put a smile on Mom, Dad and Grandma & Grandpa Bowman.

Playing chess against your cousin. You and Layla are 3rd cousins, shes a year older.

Dad & Grandma Polzin

Season is over. Coach Scott wore the blue shirt to tease Dad about only having Blue Cub shirts.
Great season Nick! You did outstanding in goalie, scored a lot of goals and was a great defender. Coach awarded you with "Best Defender".

Good job Kevin, you learned a lot this season.

Family bike ride. Grandpa Polzin gave Dad his old bike racks that fit my car perfectly. Now we can go beyond the neighborhood.

Then off to a brewery. Kevin you love to make the heart with your hands.

Filling out your own "My Book About Me"
After we discovered Mommy's same book at a similar age.

Dads company took them on a Wrigley Field tour. I drink from the cubs players drinking fountain. Since then they have lost 9 of the last 12 games. Sorry Cub fans. Go White Sox

May 2017 - Nick Turns 8 & Our Disney Vacation

96th Month or 8 Years!

Happy 8th Birthday Nick!!! Waking up in Disney World.

For your birthday, we took the family to Disney! We went for a went for week, we stayed at the Yacht Club. We visited Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal and Magic Kingdom. We went on a LOT of rides and ate a ton of food. Most days we left around lunch to go back to the room where you boys to 2-3 hour long naps. Check out the book I'm designing now...in the future. It will have lots of photos.

We loved Splash Mountain. So much that went 3 times!!! I love this photo.

Daddy's least favorite ride was Mission Space. Nick and I went and when the guide asked if we want regular or intense, I left it up to a 8 year old. You chose INTENSE and I was immediately regretting that. Kevin's favorite was the Dinosaur Ride as you can see from the photo above, when it was over you said to Mommy, "I never want to do that again"

Even Uncle Drew drove down from Jacksonville to have dinner at Dinosaur at Disney Springs.

Out of all the things to buy at Disney, Kevin, you picked out a Space Ship, and Nick, you picked out Start Wars Legos.

Max & Henry's Birthday Party!

Kevin, you graduated Day Care!!! In the fall, on to Kindergarten.
Even Grandma & Grandpa Bowman were there.

Saying goodbye to your friends on your last day. 3 kids were crying.

We'll miss Ms. Nicole

We'll miss our favorite teach Ms Christina

Celebrating Cormack & Nick's Birthday.

I built you guys some shelves for your trophies and Legos.

To sum up Disney, it was exhausting. But my highlight was the International Center at Epcot and the boys smiles when they were on those rides.

April 2017 - Easter & Take Your Child To Work Day

95th Monthly Photo

You're five, in a 2T coat.

Your school took you to a class at Home Depot

Uh, Nick...you are eating that sucker wrong.

Kev & Dec

No big deal...this is how we told you boys we were going to Disney World. A countdown calendar. Nick, you were kinda of excited, Kevin you were super excited. I recorded it.

Soccer Brothers

Neighbor Brady is on Kevin's team. Will made a sign for them both.

Kevin's first game...you just kept running, the ball was not your mission. With a smile on your face you run around the ball, pass the ball, and sometimes head in the wrong direction. By game 3 you kicked the ball and even had an assist!

From the soccer field to the Easter Egg Hunt.

Dying Eggs

A table full of cousins!
